Plan around the venue

What should the sign do, and where will it work?

Choose the goal and placement to create a practical starting brief for your venue.

01What should it achieve?
02Where will guests see it?
Recommended venue brief

Be noticed outside · Window or entrance

Prioritize short wording, strong contrast and a size planned for the real viewing distance. We’ll review daylight, reflections, setback, viewing direction and the practical cable route before sizing the sign.

Design priorities

  • Legibility before decorative detail
  • Day and night contrast
  • Distance, direction and installation height

Venue details to send

  • Day and evening photos from outside
  • Usable width, height and glass or wall surface
  • Power point, cable route and property restrictions

The final proposal confirms feasibility, dimensions, brightness control, backing, mounting, power, outdoor specification and timing before production.

Choose how to start

Three project routes. One clear next step.

A venue logo, a short phrase and a ready-made design need different starting points.

Design around the guest

Plan the moments guests actually see.

Choose the one or two places where visibility, brand recognition or photography matter most.

Before the door

Help guests find you

Venue name · logo · OPEN

Plan for street direction, viewing distance, daylight and night-time contrast.

At the entrance

Confirm the identity

Window logo · welcome line

Use the arrival point to reassure guests they have found the right place and set the tone.

Inside the room

Anchor the atmosphere

Logo wall · signature phrase

Balance the sign with furniture, wall texture, ambient light and the main guest sightline.

At service

Direct attention

Coffee · bar · pickup · dessert

Use a concise label or icon where guests choose, order or collect.

In the camera

Frame a shareable moment

Tagline · icon · branded backdrop

Plan the composition around the camera position, not only around the empty wall.

Restaurant, café & bar FAQ

Clear answers before you order.

For restaurant, café and bar projects of every size.

Is the venue mockup and quote free?

Yes. Your first mockup, technical drawing and tailored quote are free, with no obligation to order. We send them within 24 hours. Payment is only required when you decide to proceed.

Can you turn our restaurant, café or bar logo into LED neon?

Usually, yes. Send the logo and identify any details that must remain unchanged. Fine elements may need to be simplified or combined with printed or engraved acrylic so the result remains recognizable and manufacturable. You approve the interpretation before production.

Should we choose a custom logo, custom wording or a ready-made design?

Use the logo proposal route for brand artwork, exact typography, large sizes, outdoor use or multi-sign projects. Use the Online Design Studio for straightforward indoor wording and short slogans such as “But first, coffee”, “Good food, good mood” or a phrase unique to your venue. Choose the hospitality collection when an existing food, coffee, cocktail or OPEN design already fits the space.

Can the sign be used outdoors or on a patio?

The outdoor sign body is IP67. You can use the standard adapter if it stays indoors. If it will stay outside, select the separately priced outdoor-rated adapter. Dimmers and RGB controllers are not waterproof and must stay indoors or suitably protected. RGB signs require a controller; a single-colour sign can connect directly to an outdoor-rated adapter without a dimmer. Select Outdoor when ordering a sign for outdoor use.

Can an LED neon sign be installed in a storefront window?

Yes. Many customers hang their sign indoors in front of the glass, using a suitable hanging kit, so it remains protected while staying clearly visible from outside. Send a photo of the window and the main viewing angle so reflections, available space, mounting and cable routing can be considered. Check any property or local signage requirements before installation.

What size should a hospitality neon sign be?

There is no useful one-size answer. The recommendation depends on wording or logo proportions, usable wall dimensions, installation height and viewing distance. A straight wall photo with one known measurement is enough to begin a scaled mockup.

Can the brightness be adjusted for dining and photos?

Yes. Single-colour signs can be supplied with a dimmer, while RGB signs use a controller with brightness and colour settings. This makes it easy to adjust the sign for ambient dining light, brighter spaces and photography.

Can we order several signs or signs for multiple locations?

Yes. Share the number of signs, design variations, destination countries, electrical requirements and rollout schedule. We can coordinate visual consistency and delivery phasing as one project; any pricing advantage is confirmed in the tailored quotation.

What files and venue information should we send?

For the clearest review, send SVG, AI, EPS or PDF artwork. PNG or JPG files, screenshots, sketches and clear phone photos can also start the conversation. Include a wide placement photo, usable dimensions, wall material, nearest power point, indoor or outdoor use, quantity and any opening or event date.

What should we know about installation?

Most indoor signs are designed for straightforward installation. Signs include an acrylic backing, prepared mounting points and installation instructions, with the mounting method selected for the intended placement. Exterior, elevated, concealed-cable or hardwired installations may require a qualified local installer or electrician. See our Installation Guide for step-by-step guidance.

How long will production and delivery take?

Standard service typically takes 2–3 weeks. Express service takes 10–12 calendar days for eligible projects and includes priority production and express shipping for an additional fee. Timing starts after payment and, when mockup approval is requested, after the mockup is approved.

What does the 2-year warranty cover?

Your sign and its supplied electrical accessories are covered for two years from delivery. This includes the standard or outdoor-rated power supply, dimmer, RGB controller and remote when used as instructed. The warranty covers manufacturing and component faults; damage from incorrect installation, misuse or external causes is assessed separately. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
