Power and cable
The standard setup includes a 1.5 metre transparent sign cable and a 1.5 metre power-supply cable. The transparent sign cable can be requested up to 3 metres before production; longer runs are not recommended. A plug suitable for the delivery country is supplied.
The transparent low-voltage cable exits the sign in its manufactured position.
Do not cut or splice the sign cable.RGB signs require the RGB controller. For single-colour signs, connect the dimmer if it is included in your selected setup.
Keep it accessible and dry.Use the supplied or approved adapter with intact cables and connectors.
Keep it ventilated and accessible.Connect to a suitable outlet using the plug supplied for the destination country.
Use an electrician for fixed wiring.Disconnect the power before handling components. Stop using the sign if a cable, connector, adapter, dimmer or controller is damaged, unusually hot or exposed to liquid.
Outdoor installation
The outdoor sign body is IP67. The power supply, dimmer, RGB controller and remote have different requirements, so place each part according to where it will be used.
If the power supply stays indoors or in a dry protected area, the included standard unit can be used.
Recommended for both single-colour and RGB signsIf the power supply will stay outside, select the separately priced outdoor-rated adapter.
Choose the adapter separately from the Outdoor sign option.A single-colour sign can connect directly to the outdoor power supply without a dimmer. If brightness control is required, keep the dimmer indoors or suitably protected.
The outdoor power supply does not waterproof the dimmerThe RGB controller is required for colour control and is not waterproof. Keep it indoors or in a suitable waterproof enclosure.
