Build the hospitality brief

Plan the guest moment before the sign.

Choose the property, the guest moment and the installation context. Then add the target date, real viewing distance and usable width before deciding style, quantity or scale.

The date provides planning context; a feasible delivery plan is confirmed only after project review.

Guest-journey planning

A property contains several different sign moments.

An entrance, reception identity, amenity brand mark and photo moment serve different viewers, distances, light levels and operating needs.

Boutique hotel · Arrival or entrance identity · Dry interior wall

Build the sign hierarchy around the property character, primary arrival sequence and spaces guests are most likely to remember or photograph. Plan for the real approach direction, distance, day-to-night contrast, architecture and weather exposure before selecting size or construction. Plan the backing, fixing points, cable direction, controller access and visual centre from the wall construction, furniture and guest circulation.

Property priorities

  • Arrival and check-in sequence
  • Brand tone and key guest spaces
  • Opening, refurbishment or campaign date

Guest-moment responsibilities

  • Vehicle and pedestrian approach views
  • Property name or logo hierarchy
  • Exterior exposure, permissions and power route

Installation constraints

  • Wall material, colour and dimensions
  • Nearest power point and cable direction
  • Drilling permission and service access

Take the brief with you

Copy the summary and paste it into the project notes when you upload the artwork.

This builder provides planning guidance only. Final artwork adaptation, dimensions, visibility, construction, mounting, electrical placement, permissions, pricing and timing are confirmed after the real installation environment has been reviewed. Decorative LED neon does not replace required room identification, accessibility, wayfinding, safety, emergency or statutory signage.

Choose the correct project route

A hotel logo, a short phrase and a property rollout are not the same brief.

Start where the project decisions actually belong instead of forcing brand-critical hospitality work through a generic text configurator.

02

Best for a simple phrase

Create a short text sign

Use the online designer for a straightforward indoor welcome phrase or property message when standard fonts and options fit the project.

  • Short approved phrases
  • Simple dry interior placement
  • One sign with standard construction options

03

Best for several zones or sites

Scope the full property system

Send the master artwork, zone or property list, quantities, local constraints, destinations and target dates so the project can be planned as one rollout.

  • Entrance, reception, amenity and social sets
  • Renovations, openings and phased delivery
  • Hotel groups and multi-property standards
Request a rollout proposal

Use the tailored proposal route for protected logos, exterior or moisture-exposed positions, suspended or large work, unusual backing, several signs or multiple properties, even when the visible design contains only text.

Design around the guest

One stay. Five moments to plan.

The right sign depends on what the guest is doing at that exact point, from identifying the property to remembering and sharing the experience.

Approach

Identify the property

Hotel name · logo · entrance mark

Plan around travel direction, viewing distance, façade architecture, daylight, night contrast and exposure.

Arrival

Confirm the right entrance

Door identity · porch logo · welcome mark

Support the arrival moment without replacing required access, parking, safety or directional information.

Check-in

Anchor the main brand

Reception logo · lobby identity · short welcome

Work with the desk, staff sightlines, guest waiting positions, screens, furniture and room light.

Stay

Give amenities their own role

Bar · restaurant · spa · rooftop · event space

Distinguish amenity branding and atmosphere from the property’s primary identity and formal wayfinding system.

Share & remember

Compose the guest photo moment

Property phrase · branded backdrop · event feature

Plan for people, group size, camera crops, dimmer control, background contrast and day-to-night use.

A multi-touchpoint opportunity

Build a Hospitality Experience Set.

One coordinated brief

Plan property recognition, the check-in identity and a guest memory point as one coherent project instead of ordering unrelated signs one by one.

01

Be identified

Arrival or entrance mark

Make the property recognisable from the real guest approach before the check-in moment begins.

  • Property name or logo
  • Entrance, canopy or eligible exterior position
  • Day/night and exposure planning
02

Be remembered

Reception identity anchor

Give check-in and waiting areas one clear primary brand view sized around the actual lobby.

  • Reception or lobby logo
  • Wall, desk and sightline data
  • Dimmer, mounting and cable route
03

Be shared

Guest photo or amenity moment

Create a branded memory point inside the lobby, bar, restaurant, spa, rooftop or event space.

  • Short property phrase or amenity identity
  • Guest and camera positions
  • Portrait, landscape and group framing

The set is a planning framework, not a fixed-price bundle. Quantity, dimensions, specification, destinations and delivery phasing are confirmed in the tailored quotation.

Request a set proposal

For hotel groups & complex properties

Keep your brand consistent across properties.

A portfolio rollout needs one approved visual standard plus a property-by-property schedule for the variables that cannot safely be assumed.

Approve one master standard

Lock the neon-ready artwork, colour, backing logic, component split and acceptable variations before property production begins.

Map every guest zone

Record each sign’s role (arrival, reception, amenity or social moment) so quantities and hierarchy remain clear.

Build a property schedule

Track dimensions, surface, exposure, sightline, ambient light, power route, permission, destination, installer and target date per property.

Validate and phase the rollout

For larger projects, confirm the agreed first unit and then coordinate packing, property labels and delivery phases around the rollout plan.

A property-aware process

The guest context stays visible at every stage.

We plan the design, installation and delivery around your property and the spaces your guests use.

Brand, guest moment & target date

Share the artwork, property type, zone, photos, measurements, viewing distance, exposure, surface, power route, quantity, destination and target date.

Visual & technical proposal

Review the neon-ready interpretation, dimensions, component split, backing, indoor or eligible outdoor direction, mounting approach, specification and price.

Approve scope & property data

Confirm artwork, installation context, permissions, quantities, destinations and the feasible production and delivery plan before ordering.

Production, tracking & install

The signs are produced, quality checked and shipped with tracking and relevant installation information for the property team.

Hotels & hospitality FAQ

Plan identity, guest moments and rollout with fewer unknowns.

Clear answers for owners, hotel groups, operators, designers, architects, procurement teams and property partners.

Can you convert our hotel or amenity logo into LED neon?

Usually, yes, but fine details may need to be simplified, separated or combined with printed or engraved acrylic so the identity remains recognisable and manufacturable. Tell us which brand details cannot change. You approve the proposed interpretation before production.

How do we choose the right size for an entrance or reception sign?

Start with the actual guest approach, viewing distance, usable installation area, architecture, desk or doorway clearances, logo proportions, daylight, evening light and competing screens or graphics. Send straight-on and wider guest-route photos with measurements. A wall width alone is not enough.

What files, photos and measurements should the hotel send first?

Send the best available logo file in AI, SVG, EPS or PDF format if possible, plus daytime and evening placement photos, a wider guest-route view, usable dimensions, viewing distance, surface, exposure, nearest power point, cable direction, quantity, destination and target date.

Can a hotel entrance sign be installed outdoors?

Eligible projects can use an IP67 outdoor sign build, but exterior or moisture exposure must be declared before production. Structure, shelter, weather, permissions, electrical work, protected power components, cable route, public access and professional installation requirements need separate review.

Can the sign work behind a reception desk or in a lobby?

Yes. Plan it around the guest arrival and waiting sightlines, desk height, staff visibility, doors, screens, furniture, room light, wall material and power route. Required check-in information and formal wayfinding should remain clear and separate.

Can we coordinate signs for the hotel restaurant, bar, spa or rooftop?

Yes. Those amenity brands can be scoped inside one hospitality project while keeping each zone’s artwork, ambient light, operating hours, exposure, surface, power and sign role distinct. Restaurant, event and outdoor sub-projects can also use their dedicated planning hubs.

Can LED neon be used in guest rooms?

Some decorative guest-room projects may be possible, but the operator must review placement, switching, power access, tamper risk, cleaning, maintenance and applicable property or local requirements. It should not replace required room identification, emergency or accessibility information.

How should we plan a guest photo or social-media wall?

Start with people, not the empty wall. Mark standing positions, group size, camera distance, common portrait and landscape crops, background contrast and ambient light. A dimmer helps balance the sign, but the page preview is only a planning aid; send camera-view test photos.

Can we create an entrance, reception and photo-point set?

Yes. Those three roles can be scoped as one coordinated Hospitality Experience Set. The set on this page is a planning framework, not a fixed-price bundle; final quantities, dimensions, specification and pricing are confirmed in the quotation.

Can you coordinate signs for several hotels or resorts?

Yes. Share the master artwork, property list, zone schedule, quantities, local dimensions, surfaces, exposure, electrical requirements, permissions, destinations, installers and target dates. We can coordinate visual consistency and delivery phasing while keeping local variables visible.

Can decorative LED neon replace hotel wayfinding, room numbers or required safety signs?

No. LED neon can support branding and selected decorative cues, but it should not replace required room identification, accessibility, emergency, fire, safety, egress or statutory information. Formal signage must remain clear and comply with the property, project team and applicable local requirements.

How long will a hospitality project take?

Timing depends on artwork complexity, size, quantity, component split, indoor or outdoor construction, structural or property approvals, destination, approval speed and rollout phasing. Add the installation, opening or refurbishment date to the first brief; the quotation confirms the feasible production and delivery plan before you order.
