Build the office brief

Plan the wall before the sign.

Choose the space, the brand role and the installation context. Add the real viewing distance and usable wall width before deciding style or scale.

Add the date so we can plan the most suitable production and delivery route.

Recommended office brief

Reception or lobby · Logo or company name · Solid wall

Anchor the primary identity where visitors naturally look while keeping the desk, doors, screens, seating and staff sightlines clear. Preserve the most recognizable logo structure and adapt fine details so they translate cleanly into LED neon. Plan the backing, fixing points, cable direction, controller access and visual center from the wall construction and furniture layout.

Space priorities

  • Visitor approach and waiting positions
  • Desk, doorway, screen and seating clearances
  • First-impression versus wayfinding role

Brand responsibilities

  • Vector logo or clearest available artwork
  • Protected colors, typography and proportions
  • Details that may need print or a separate element

Installation details

  • Wall material, color and dimensions
  • Nearest power point and cable direction
  • Suitable fixing points and installer needs

Take the brief with you

Copy the summary and paste it into the project notes when you upload the artwork.

This builder helps prepare the first project brief. Final artwork, dimensions, construction, mounting, electrical placement, price and timing are confirmed after we review the brand files and installation space.

Choose the workplace role

Where must the brand do its job?

Planning direction

Reception identity wall

Place the primary identity in the natural arrival sightline, then size it around the desk, doors, screens, seating and actual viewing distance.

  • Visitor approach and seated views
  • Wall, desk and doorway dimensions
  • Power route and mounting surface
01

One primary identity point

Give the reception mark visual priority, then use supporting values and content backdrops within the same clear hierarchy.

02

Design for the real viewer

A visitor walking in, a client seated in a meeting and a camera all read scale, glare and background differently.

03

Show the complete power route

Keep the sign, controller, power supply, connectors and cable path accessible, with cables routed away from doors, desks and circulation areas.

Use the lab to compare workplace roles and prepare the brief. Final size, brightness and construction are confirmed from your artwork, measurements and room photos.

Plan the office sign

What the real project shows

The brand file, wall and build must agree.

The Linkfluence Partners project shows how an existing identity can become a manufacturable, wall-scale LED neon composition for a real office.

Started from the real logo

The client supplied original brand assets so the recognizable bird mark and company name could be evaluated as one identity.

Resolved as two pieces

The logo structure was planned as a two-part composition rather than forcing every element onto one oversized backing.

Approximately 130 × 40 cm

The proportions followed the wide logo and reviewed office context, showing why usable width and artwork shape must be considered together.

Built for a Helsinki office

The project was created for a Helsinki office and planned around the supplied brand files, wall context and approved dimensions.

Design around the workplace

One office. Five moments where the brand can work.

Choose the moments where the sign adds the most value for visitors, teams and content.

Arrival or corridor

Confirm the destination

Company name · suite mark · brand icon

Use the company name, suite mark or brand icon to create a clear and welcoming arrival.

Meeting space

Frame the client conversation

Secondary logo · value · concise brand line

Coordinate the sign with screens, whiteboards, artwork, acoustics, seated views and adjustable brightness.

Team environment

Make the value specific

Mission word · team principle · internal marker

Request a set proposal

One identity, several offices

Separate the brand standard from the local wall.

Multi-office consistency starts with one approved neon-ready design and accurate information for each location.

Approve one master standard

Lock the neon-ready artwork, color, backing logic, component split and acceptable variations before location production begins.

Build a location schedule

Record usable dimensions, surface, sightline, room light, outlet, cable route, destination and opening date for each office.

Validate the first approved unit

For larger rollouts, confirm the agreed artwork and construction details before repeating the standard across the remaining quantity.

Standardize packing and handover

Use office identifiers, destination labels and consistent installation information so the correct sign reaches the correct facilities team.

A space-aware process

The office context stays visible at every stage.

Artwork, wall data, approvals and delivery stay connected to the real workplace throughout the project.

Brand, wall & target date

Share the logo, office space, target date, placement photos, measurements, viewing distance, power route and quantity.

Visual & technical proposal

Review the neon-ready interpretation, dimensions, component split, backing, brightness direction, mounting approach, specification and price.

Approve artwork & place the order

Confirm the artwork, dimensions, quantities, destinations and delivery plan, then complete payment to begin production. If mockup approval is requested, timing begins after approval.

Production, tracking & install

The sign is produced, quality checked and shipped with tracking and relevant installation information.

Office & reception FAQ

Clear answers for planning your office sign.

Logo files, sizing, installation, workplace sets, outdoor use and delivery timing.

Can you convert our company logo into LED neon?

Yes. Send the clearest available logo file and tell us which brand details must remain unchanged. We adapt the artwork for LED neon and can use printed or engraved acrylic for selected fine details. You approve the proposed interpretation before production.

How do we choose the right size for a reception sign?

Start with the main visitor sightline, viewing distance, available wall area, desk and doorway clearances, logo proportions and nearby screens or graphics. Send a straight-on photo, a wider room view and measurements so we can recommend a suitable size.

What files and office photos should we send first?

Send the best available logo file, preferably AI, SVG, EPS or PDF, together with a straight-on placement photo, a wider arrival or room view, usable dimensions, viewing distance, wall material and colour, nearest power point, cable direction, quantity, destination and target date.

Can an office neon sign be installed on glass or a partition?

Yes. Some signs can be suspended or fixed on or near glass. Share photos and dimensions from both sides so the backing, visibility, fixing method and cable route can be planned for the space.

How can the cable and power supply be hidden?

The best route depends on the wall, outlet, pre-wiring and furniture layout. Show the complete route from the sign to the controller, power supply and outlet so we can recommend a clean setup. You can also review our Installation Guide.

Can the sign work as a video-call or content backdrop?

Yes. Plan the sign around the actual camera position, presenter, crop, background and room light. A dimmer helps balance the sign with faces. Send a camera-view screenshot or test photo with the room lighting on.

Can we create a coordinated reception, meeting and content-wall set?

Yes. Reception, meeting and content-wall signs can be planned as one coordinated workplace project. Your quotation confirms the final quantities, dimensions, construction and pricing.

Can you coordinate signs for several offices?

Yes. Share the master artwork, office list, quantities, wall measurements, surfaces, electrical details, destinations and target dates. We can coordinate visual consistency and delivery phasing for the full rollout.

Can an office sign also be installed outdoors?

Yes. For an exterior or moisture-exposed installation, select the IP67 outdoor version and tell us where the adapter and controls will be placed. If the adapter remains outdoors, the waterproof outdoor adapter is required. The dimmer and RGB controller should remain indoors or suitably protected. See our Outdoor Neon Sign Guide for planning details.

How long will production and delivery take?

Standard production and delivery takes 2–3 weeks. Express service takes 10–12 calendar days and includes priority production and express shipping. Timing begins after payment and, when mockup approval is requested, after the mockup is approved. Share your target installation or opening date in the first brief.
